Podcast recommendation Developer on Fire

Recently I started listening to the podcast called Developer on Fire, hosted by Dave Rael. Each episodes features a guest, and the whole idea of the show is that Dave talks to each guest while they tell their stories.

The show describes itself like this:

Podcast with inspiring interviews with successful software developers, architects, testers, and other professionals with stories of success, failure, excellence, and inspiration

In all the episodes I’ve heard so far, I’ve picked up quite a bit of inspiration. There is also a great amount of wisdom to learn from the guests, so I highly recommend that you head over to Developer on Fire, or find the show at iTunes or Stitcher. I am definitely looking forward to hear more episodes!

  1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the show, Leif. I know I’ve gotten a lot out of making the show and getting to share these amazing guests. It’s great to hear that they are worthwhile for you, too.

  2. I also recently started listening to that podcast. Mainly because several people I follow and interact with on twitter has been on it. I like the format, will continue to listen to it ๐Ÿ™‚

Any other good podcasts you listen to?

    1. My favorite development podcasts (other than being fond of Developer On Fire for obvious reasons) are .NET Rocks!, Software Engineering Radio, the Changelog, My Life for the Code, Agile in 3 Minutes, Being The Worst (though they can’t seem to make up their mind on whether they are committed to continuing it, still some awesomeness in the archives), Talk Python To Me, and the Cucumber Podcast.

      1. Thanks for that list ๐Ÿ™‚

I listen to Adventures in Angular, Hanselminutes and Developer on Fire (great work on that btw) quite regularly right now.

I listen more sporadically to Coder Radio, Software Engineering Radio, JavaScript Jabber and The Web Platform Podcast.

    2. I haven’t been listening too actively on podcast until recently, so I’ve been going through many of the episodes from Developer on Fire. I have put .NET Rocks! on my list though, and I see @davidrael:disqus mentions a few others here, which probably is worth to look into.

Other than that I have listened a lot to Smart Passive Income earlier, which is about generating passive income. Also a good show, if you’re into that kind of content.
